When our expectations fall on a person, we will inevitably experience disappointment. When our expectations fall on God in prayer (for the person), this is where we find contentment and possibly even joy no matter the circumstance.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
